- Constable: Passed Secondary Examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

Selection Process :
Selection will be through Preliminary Written Examination, Physical Standard & Physical Efficiency Test, Final Written Examination and Personality Test.
Physical Standards for WB Police Recruitment
- For constable recruitment , height should be 167 cm and weight should be 70 kg. The chest of the candidate should be 78 cms. The height criteria for Gorkha candidates is 160 cms. Candidates are required to run 1600 meters in 8 minutes 30 seconds.
- For Lady Constable , height should be 160 cms and weight should be 49 kgs. Height criteria for Gorkha candidates should be 152 cms and weight should be 45 kgs. Candidates are required to run 800 meters in 4 minutes.
Application Fee : Rs.170/- for General/OBC Pay the Examination Fee Through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net-Banking or Challan or Sahaj Gyan Center, For SC/ST of West Bengal Only 20/- (Processing Fee )
