The plane promptly burst into flames, albeit no serious wounds were accounted for, specialists said.
The fire was brought about by the breakdown of landing gear on a Red Air flight showing up from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to the Miami International Airport in the United States.
The plane was conveying 126 individuals, and three of them were taken to an emergency clinic for treatment of minor wounds, he added.
Different travelers were being transported from the plane to the terminal.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue posted on Twitter that fire teams had set the fire taken care of and were alleviating fuel spillage.
Television news pictures showed the plane seemed to have stopped in grass close to a runway and that the airplane.
A region surrounding it were obviously drenched with white firemen's synthetics. No less than three firefighting vehicles were situated close by.
