Mexican Actor Fernando Del Solar Dies

Actor and host Fernando del Solar of shows and soap operas such as “Perla” and “Venga la Alegría” died Thursday at the age of 49.

The National Association of Actors announced his death on their social networks.

The association wrote Thursday on its Twitter account. Our condolences to his family and friends.

Del Solar acted in soap operas and series such as "Perla", "Tell me about love", "A new love" and "What women keep quiet".

He was also the host of programs such as “La Academia”, “Sexos en Guerra”, “Venga la alegría” and “Hoy”.

It breaks our hearts to report the unfortunate death of our beloved Fernando del Solar, Venga la Alegría wrote on his Twitter account.

Del Solar, whose real name was Martín Cacciamani Servidio, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 5, 1973.

He emigrated to Mexico at a young age and over the years became a naturalized Mexican after completing his career in the North American country.

Del Solar had suffered from lung cancer in 2012. The causes of his death were not specified.

He is survived by his children Luciano and Paolo, product of his extinct relationship with the driver Ingrid Coronado, and his current wife Anna Ferro, whom he had married in March.
