A total of 70 league matches are to be held in IPL 2022 which are to be held in Mumbai and Pune.
The tournament will last for 65 days and will consist of four playoff matches. The schedule of playoff matches will be released later.
There are 12 double headers (two matches in a day) in IPL 2022. The first double header will be played on March 27 between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians.
This match is to be held at Brabourne Stadium in the afternoon. On the same day, the second match will be held between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings in the evening.
This match is to be played at DY Patil Stadium. The last league match of IPL 2022 is to be played between Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad on 22 May. This match is to be held at Wankhede Stadium.
