Rahul Gandhi is being questioned in the National Herald case at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office.
Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi gave information about the key questions asked by the ED in the investigation so far and Rahul's answers by holding a press conference.
Question: Are you a Director and Shareholder of Young India?
Question: Is Young India a shareholder of AJL?
Rahul: Yes, has been for decades, always has been. It is in the papers.
Q: Are you a Shareholder or Director of Young India who owns AJL?
Rahul: Even if the person is 100% shareholder of a company, the shareholder does not have ownership rights on that company. This has been the law since 1955.
Q: Did you make any profit from this company?
Rahul: Benefit cannot be taken in a company under Article 8 and 25. Can neither take salary nor vehicle or other allowances. This question is wrong.
