The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade has presented Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to reform internet business in India.
The ONDC is a UPI-type convention to help little and medium nearby retailers.
With computerized change clearing around the world, nearby stores are going on the web through various channels or making their own entryways.
Notwithstanding, there is no interoperability between these stages and the UPI.
The open organization for computerized business is a market-drove drive pointed toward empowering interoperability in advanced trade in light of the standards of transparency.
It means to empower unbundling, democratizing & opening incentive for all pieces of advanced business," said Dr Hitesh Bhatt, chief at Retailers Association of India.
Organized as a non-benefit association, ONDC has gotten about Rs 150 crores in subsidizing till now.
It targets advancing open organizations created on publicly released technique, utilizing open particulars and open organization conventions.
The recipients contain little, medium and miniature endeavors, including retail locations, inns, eateries, and last-mile conveyance accomplices.
ONDC is a first-of-its-sort drive that expects to democratize advanced trade, moving it from a stage driven model to an open organization.
