How to block mobile phone through SMS :-
Friends, if you want to block your phone through SMS, then you have to go to the message box from another phone and type KYM <15 digit IMEI number> . After this the message has to be sent to 14422 . On sending the message, the request to block your phone will be registered in the system of CEIR portal. After this your phone will be blocked after the request is verified by the system.

How to Block Stolen / Lost Mobile on CEIR Portal :-
Before blocking a mobile phone, you have to go to the police station of your area and file a complaint of theft or lost phone (FIR) as you have to upload a copy of the complaint while applying for phone block on the CEIR portal. The process to block a stolen or lost mobile phone is as follows –
- To block a mobile phone, first you have to visit the official website of CEIR at ceir.gov.in.
- After visiting the website, you will get the link of Block Stolen / Lost Mobile under CEIR Services . Click on the link to block the phone.

- After clicking on the link a form will open in front of you.
- Now in this form, you have to fill the details asked about the phone and upload the copy of the complaint (FIR) and the copy of the phone purchasing bill.
- After that fill the captcha code and click on “Get OTP” button.
- Enter the OTP and click on the “I am here” checkbox.
- After clicking on the check box, click on the button of “Submit” .

- After clicking the button, the request to block your phone will be accepted.
How to Un-Block Found Mobile on CEIR Portal :-
Following is the process to unblock the phone on CEIR portal –
- To block a mobile phone, first you have to visit the official website of CEIR at ceir.gov.in.
- After visiting the website, you will get the link of Un-Block Found Mobile under CEIR Services . Click on the link to unblock the phone.

- After clicking on the link a new page will open in front of you.
- Now on the opened page, you will have to enter your request ID, mobile number and reason for un-blocking .
- After that, after entering the mobile number information, click on the button of “Get OTP” .
- After OTP is received. Enter the OTP and click on the “Submit” button.

- After clicking on the button, your blocked phone will be un-blocked.
How to check the status of your registered request on CEIR Portal :-
- To check the status of the request registered on the CEIR Portal, first you visit the official portal of CEIR at ceir.gov.in.
- After visiting the portal, you will get a link to Request Check under CEIR Services. To check the request for phone block, click on the link of Check Request Status .

- After clicking on the link a new page will open in front of you.
- On the new page that opens, enter your Request ID number.
- After that click on the button of “Submit” . After clicking on the button, all the details related to your request will appear on your screen.

- In this way you can get information about the request status of your lost phone.

- To verify IMEI number, first you go to the official website of C-DOT CEIR Portal at ceir.gov.in.
- After visiting the website, you will get the link of “IMEI Verification” under the application menu . Click the link.

- After clicking on the link a new page will open in front of you.
- Now on this newly opened page, first of all enter your 10 digit mobile number.
- After entering the mobile number , click on the button “Get OTP” . After clicking on the button, a 4 digit OTP will be sent to your phone.
- After this, by entering the OTP, verify the OTP by clicking on the button of “Verify OTP” .
- After the OTP is verified, enter the 15 digit IMEI number. And after that click on the button of “Check” .

If you have any complaint related to any of its service on CEIR portal then you can register your complaint using Fault Management service of Portal. Following is the online procedure for registering a complaint –
- To register a complaint, first you go to the official portal of CEIR.
- After visiting the portal, click on the link “Register Ticket” under the Fault Management menu.

- After clicking on the link, the complaint page will open.
- After the page is opened, select your state in the “Region” list. After this , select the correct option according to you in the options given in “Fault” .
- After the above process, enter your complaint in detail under “Fault Description” and click on the check box for its personal details.
- After clicking on the check box, click on the button of “Submit” . After clicking on the button, your complaint will be registered on the portal.

- In this way you can lodge complaint through online mode on C-Dot CEIR portal.
How to track the status of Register the fault occurred on CEIR Portal :-
If you want to track the status of your complaint registered on the portal online then we are telling you about the complete online process to track the status here which is as follows –
- First of all you visit the official website of CEIR Portal.
- After visiting the portal, click on the link “ Ticket Status” under the Fault Management menu.

- After clicking on the link, a page related to checking status will open in front of you.
- Now enter your ticket ID and mobile number in this page and click on the button of “Get OTP” .
- After this an OTP will come on your mobile number. Verify by entering the OTP.
