Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana has been brought to reduce the increasing unemployment and increase employment opportunities in the country. This scheme was started on 12 November 2020. Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana (ABRY) has been brought to increase the job opportunities in organized sectors. So far 16.49 lakh people have been registered under this scheme. This scheme will be of great benefit in reducing employment related problems and increasing employment opportunities during the Corona period. This plan is for a period of 2 years.

Under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana, the Government of India will provide subsidy to all those employees who have been appointed between 1 October 2020 to 30 June 2021. This subsidy will be available for two years. Those employer organization which has 1000 employees, they will be contributed by the central government to the EPF by the central government with both 12 percent employee contribution and 12 percent employer contribution, 24 percent of salary allowances for two years. Companies where more than 1000 employees have been employed, they will contribute only 12 percent of each employee. This too will be valid for a period of 2 years only.

Bharat Rozgar Yojana is an effort made to increase employment opportunities in the country and to get out of the economic crisis during the Corona period. Developing human capital, innovation research and development, doubling the income of farmers under this scheme. Strengthening physical and financial capital and infrastructure, good governance, opportunities for youth, women empowerment etc. will be focused. A strong effort will be made to improve the economic structure of the country under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan 3.0.

The government believes that 58.5 lakh employees will benefit from the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana (ABRY) .
This scheme was started to encourage the creation of new employment opportunities and to compensate for the loss of employment during the Corona epidemic.
Bharat Rojgar Yojana will not only encourage the creation of new jobs but will also get financial help in the form of direct industries.
Under this scheme those employees will be selected whose monthly income is less than 15000. In this way, the benefit of this scheme will also be in the upliftment of the economically weaker persons.
In the current financial year, Rs 1584 crore has been spent in this scheme. 22810 crore will be spent by the year 2020 -2023.
Under this scheme, EPFO will make payment electronically which will be in the accounts linked to the Aadhaar number of the employees. For this a software will be developed which will be helpful in adopting transparent process.
Under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana, those EPF account holders who were fired during the Corona epidemic and re-employed on or after 1 October 2020 will also get the benefit.
The Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Scheme was introduced to generate employment during the Corona epidemic . Under this, the government was contributing 12 percent in EPF. Due to which about 1.21 crore people have been benefitted.
Earlier there were about 6 crore workers in the organized sector, whose number has now increased to 10 crore.
Under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana Scheme , the government will give 24% EPF contribution to those organizations which have 1000 or less employees.
The government will give 12% EPF contribution to the organizations which have more than 1000 employees.
Similarly, an institution with less than 50 employees will have to make at least 2 new appointments and an institution with more than 50 employees will get the benefit of this scheme if at least 5 new appointments are made.
If the employees fired during the corona epidemic are taken back by the institute, then they will also be given a salary subsidy of 12% or 24% of EPF.
The government has set a target of creating 10 lakh new jobs in 2 years. This will be done by the government with the help of Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation.

Eligibility of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana

To get the benefits under this scheme, the individual or any institution has to fulfil the eligibility conditions of Bharat Rozgar Yojana. If you also want to take advantage of this scheme, then know about the eligibility conditions related to these.

The employee whose monthly income is less than Rs 15000 and not associated with any such organization which is registered with EPFO before 1st October 2020 . He should not have any Universal Account Number or EPF Member Account Number before 1 October 2020. That person will be considered eligible for this facility.
Any EPFO member having Universal Account Number and whose salary is less than 15000. The person has lost his employment during the Kovid epidemic (between 1st March and 30th September) and he should not have joined any such organization till 30th September which is registered in EPF. That person can also become a beneficiary of this scheme.
The institute is eligible to take advantage of this scheme by giving job to 2 people in the institute where there are 50 employees.
In the institution where the number of employees is more than 50, then at least 5 employees are newly appointed, then that institution is also eligible to become the beneficiary of this scheme.
